The Triumph 2000 In general
Triumph 2000 MK2 was an improved version of the original 1964 2000 model, and was launched in 1969. It stayed in production until mid-1977, receiving a facelift in 1974 mainly in its mechanicals and gaining the name 2000 TC. Throughout its production it was available either as a 2.0 or 2.5 liter model. Both engines were 6-cyl. and have much in common with that of the TR6 roadster. According to the British DVLA there are currently about 800 2.0 and 2.5 liter models on the road in Britain.
A few words about the car on sale
This particular example has spent its time in Greece from new, so it didn't suffer from the usual corrosion issues that plague many imported cars. It has only had two previous owners and has been meticulously maintained the whole time I've had it (since 2000). Importantly, there are no diversions from originality and has always been kept in a garage. It has taken part in many classic runs, both in Greece and abroad with total reliability."
