The Jensen Healey in general
This car was developed as a successor to the famous Austin-Healey, and was the collaboration of Donald Healey and his son Geoffrey with Kjell Qvale of Jensen Motors Ltd. After various engines were tested, the Lotus 2 liter 16 valve all-alluminium unit was chosen (and made available by Colin Chapman), and this 1974 example has the 5 speed Gertrag gearbox.
A few words about the car on sale
It was imported to Greece from Holland in 2006. It has luggage rack, roll bar, soft top and hard top (the later with heated glass). Its carbs were recently tuned, all electrics are fully functional, and bodywork is clean. The Lotus slant engine is particularly sonorous and lively. It is kept in closed garage, with selected outings in the countryside of Peloponese, as maintenance usage.
