The Lancia 2000 in general
This is a fine example of the engineering and sophistication that Lancia was able to put into production in the 70’s. It is an evolution of the Flavia, still sharing many mechanical and body parts with it. The 4 cylinder boxer engine received a Bosch fuel injection system, and the interior was made particularly luxurious and comfortable, since this was Lancia’s flagship at the time. Combined with the very high build quality and detailed engineering, the driver and passengers enjoy a level of ride and comfort unique for that era.
A few words for the particular example
This 1973 Lancia 2000 was imported to Greece from Holland in 2008. It is kept in closed garage since, with selected outings in the countryside of Peloponese, as maintenance usage. It has power assisted steering, electric windows (front and rear), leather interior (the original one from factory), resprayed color, new clutch and plate, and was recently serviced. All electrics are fully functional and body is rust free. The car drives beautifully, with very comfortable ride.
