The Galletto in General

The Galletto was launched in 1950, in effort from the factory to penetrate the increasingly popular scooter category. It is the first large wheel scooter world wide.
Addittionally, through the model's development, the engine capacity went from 160 cc to 175 and to 192, gearbox ratios from 3 to 4, and most importantly electric engine start feature was added, at a time which it was rare even on the greatest and most expensive motorcycles.
It succesfully combines the advantages of motorcycles (stability and roadholding, comfort, performance) with those of scooters (weather protection, ease of use, spare wheel, fuel efficiency), without their disadvantages.

A few words about the motorcycle on sale

It is in fully original, unrestored and functional condition, a combination rare for its age. The engine starts literally with a half turn of the starter. It is probably the only working sample in Greece.
It has no need for any repair, it is ready-to-go, and is a great solution for pleasant rides or classic rallies.
It can be readily be classified as historic bike
